Gaming over other media

 Games are like books, multiple small worlds devised for us to explore. However, with current iterations, they give us the power to influence the outcome making the journey memorable.

One of the reasons why there is such an outrage when the ending is not satisfactory.

They have allowed us to be actively involved in the story, participate in decisions and influence the world around us. Something which other forms of media like books and movies lacks.
